WinDemoMobile Competition, DEMO Mobile Conference in San Francisco
In San Francisco, on April 17th, Fandrop asked 33 startups at DEMO Mobile 2013 to give an ‘elevator pitch’ about their product. Neha Sampat, raw engineering CEO, explained how built.io will make backend complexity a thing of the past. These startups were entered into WinDemoMobile; a competition based on the number of social shares these short videos received. built.io won with 492 shares, winning, not just bragging rights, but mentoring sessions with mobile influencers and tickets to the DEMO Fall Conference.
Best Mobile App 2013, SiliconIndia Mobile Conference in Mumbai
A few weeks beforehand in Mumbai, India, the raw engineering team introduced built.io to thought leaders, developers, investors, and business users in the Indian mobile community at the SiliconIndia Mobile Applications Conference. built.io received the ‘Best Mobile App 2013’ award onstage in front of 500+ mobile industry leaders.

This is an exciting time at raw engineering, inc., as we launch the first enterprise product of our own, and we are thrilled that it has been so well received by the community.
