Yesterday, I spoke to a group of young, aspiring business leaders in the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity at San Francisco State University. This got me thinking about what advice my mentors have given me to lead me to become who I am today, CEO of Built.io. So, I came up a with a number of little tidbits that pack a big inspirational punch, at least for me.
Let’s face it, failure and success are what you remember, not the humdrum day at the office. Failure and success are equally important, and equally memorable. Take your failures for what they are, just ways to try something new that happened to not work. Now that you know what doesn’t work, you can focus on better ideas that just might!
